Hi.

Please ...

- open writer

- enter any word

- select the word

- right-click the selection "Charcter..."

- in the "Position"-Tab select "Subscript"

- disable "Automatic"

- confirm with OK

- again select the word and open the "Position"-Tab of the "Character"-window

- Note that the checobox "Automatic" is grayed out now.

- Do a click on the already selected radio button.

- Now the checkbox "Automatic" is correctly not grayed out.

Found on SO8 PU4 Linux.

The same bug happens with "Superscriot".

Superscript

Calc and Draw/Impress have the same bug.

Is this a framework bug?
Comment 4 norbert2 2006-10-21 11:30:09 UTC
There is a second bug in all OOo applications:

- select some text

- open the character window

- select Subscript and make sure Automatic is selected

- Note that "Raise/lower by" value is "11%"

- confirm with OK

- re-open the character window

- Note that the value now is "33%"

- click the already selected radio button "Subscript"

- Note that the word in the preview changes its position and the value changes
to "11%".

Superscript is not affected of this second problem.

Please also have a look at Issue 70718 and Issue 21714.

First problem is known, already fiöed as issue 12903.
The second problem is not reproducable here; the value is always shown as 33%
when I use subscript / automatic. It seems, that it is a problem which may only
occur under special circumstances (a special font / font size e.g.), so a new
issueu with further information should be submitted.
