I'm working properly with a .odt file. First I save it with a name in my hard
disk. Next I work with it, but there are some problems if I wait some time
before I save it again. If you save it frequently, nothing happens and Writer
saves it correctly. But you get the next error if wait some time and then save:
"Error saving the document -documentname-.
General error.
General input/output error".

I have very little knowledgement about programming, but perhaps the problem is
on handling temp files...

Does this only happens with Writer?

No, it happens with all documents (not only with writer, also with calc) saving
it for the first time. Once saved it doensn't occur anymore.
