Hi jameslee,

I tried this on Solaris using m76 and this issue doesn't appear anymore....

Please wait until m76 ( or newer ) is released and try again on your machine(s),
thanks....

Hi jameslee,

thanks for suing and supporting OpenOffice.org...

I tried this on
- Solaris (SPARC) and on
- Solaris(Intel/AMD).
I didn't get that problem ...
I used OOo1.9m77 downloaded from
http://ftp.stardiv.de/pub/OpenOffice.org/developer/680_m74/

Are you really using Solaris on a PC?
Did you install all necessary packages?

==> setting to worksforme...

I don't doubt you; please don't doubt me. Doesn't work for me.

I built it from CVS, is there a problem with CVS?

> Are you really using Solaris on a PC?

Of course. Why else do Sun make it except for people to use?

> Did you install all necessary packages?

Such as? Please list.

Hi jameslee,

sorry for delay...

I just asked to make sure you use Solaris on a PC since AFAIR I didn't see this
before ... :)

hhmm, I thought there was a help package but it seems that I am wrong...(

reassigned to mh

mci -> mh:
Hi mh,
I think this is something for you...
jameslee suggested that there may be something wrong with CVS since he didn't
get the help...??
Please have a look at this issue...
Thanks

james, has the build passed the helpcontent2 module with any error ?

can you check if the swriter.jar is present in help/en directory and if the
missing files are included in the jar file ?
Comment 8 jameslee 2005-02-17 11:52:27 UTC
I've rebuilt m78 a couple more times (and have m79 currently grinding), seems to
be sablot which is causing the problem.

When built with the configure option "--with-system-sablot" it does not work.
So the bug appears to be something like: the use of sablot, or that an external
sablot is not supported (thus configure options are in error), or the API of
sablot is not stable and the version is important (thus the configure should
check the version as it does with neon).
Comment 9 Martin Hollmichel 2005-03-09 09:23:03 UTC
mh->abi: can you confirm a dependency to a certain sablot version ?
Comment 10 andreas.bille 2005-05-23 13:17:15 UTC
OOo2.0.1
Comment 11 andreas.bille 2005-08-16 15:52:15 UTC
abi->jameslee: Sablotron has indeed undergone several incompatible changes in
previous releases. What version is your system-sablot, and why do you need to
use it?

Otherwise, I have marked it as duplicate to 48069, because upgrading is the only
way to solve it (if of course the solaris version is compatible ).
