Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 128249
Cell Alignment Formatting defaults
Last modified: 2019-12-31 08:22:47 UTC
There is no feature to change the default alignment of text in cells. I NEVER use the defaults, leading to extra work. Can we add a checkbox in the Format > Cells > Alignment block to set selected features as default? If I missed the setup of this I apologize in advance.
The setting for this could of course be located in Tools > Options > OpenOffice Calc.
You are in wrong place here. This tool is a bug tracking system and not a help desk. You must use a style and a template if you want this setting. Please refer first on users mailing list or forum: http://www.openoffice.org/support/index.html

"You must use a style and a template if you want this setting." Why? Why not use my example, it would be faster. Why could I set a lot of things and not this? Is this difficult to program?
(In reply to CSV from comment #4) Did you read my first comment? A search in our forum shows how to did this: https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=93152 > Why not use my example, it would be faster. Faster for you but for me, a template extends this for more customizations.
