Description akelsall 2009-02-13 22:17:54 UTC
1. Import a PDF file

2. Single-click on any line of text in the document.

3. Click on the left-most Area Style/Formatting tool and change it from
   Invisible to Color.

4. Click on the right-most Area Style/Formatting tool and choose a color (e.g.
select blue). Notice the text background is now hilighted in blue.

5. Click on another line of text. Notice when you do this that the Area Style/
Formatting tool defaults back to Invisible.

Requested enhancement:

Rather than have the application default back to Invisible, have it "save"
whatever setting the user last selected (in this example, have it save the
option "Color"). In addtion, have it save the color that was selected as well
(in this example, blue). The logic being that A user most likely will use the
same higlight (background) color multiple times, so why have the app revert
back to Invisible?

Better yet, allow the user to toggle this behavior. If they want the app to
save the last setting they had for Area Style/Formatting, let them do this.
Then, if they want to turn off this behavior (and revert back to the way it
currently is), allow them to do this as well.

Thanks,

Andy
