-> create a new presentastion
-> edit master view
-> set background picture for slide
-> edit syle
-> change color, size, position of text
-> save document

if you open this document again, you will lost the background bitmap and text style (color)

works for:

Windows XP 5.1.2600
OOO 3.1

works for bitmap, jpeg, gif.

What is the type and size of the picture you are using for the background?

Not reproducible on Mac with m9 either.

I have used an .gif file for the background.

And I am working on power mac (not an intel mac)
