Description Olaf Felka 2009-01-14 09:50:53 UTC
- 3.0.1-RC2 should contain JRE 6U11
- OOO300_m15 contains JRE6U7
Comment 1 Olaf Felka 2009-01-14 09:58:26 UTC
this is a follow up for issue 95184
Comment 2 Olaf Felka 2009-01-14 10:03:50 UTC
To have the ability to make 'minor update' from OOo 3.0 to 3.0.1 the the new
6U11 JRE installation files must be renamed to 6u7 (jre-6u7-windows-i586-p.exe).
So don't be confused that the file has the same name after fixing. This naming
madness will be reworked in OOo 3.1.
Comment 3 ingo.schmidt-rosbiegal 2009-01-14 10:20:39 UTC
There is one wrong string in javaversion2.dat in cvs module setup_native
(changing "7" to "11"). The fix only requires changing this string, deliver
setup_native (without building it) and creating new Windows Installation sets in
instsetoo_native. Could be easily done as masterfix. This affects the Windows
products of "OpenOffice_with_JRE", "OpenOffice_dev", "BrOffice_with_JRE" and
"BrOffice_dev". No other products are influenced by "javaversion2.dat".
Comment 4 ingo.schmidt-rosbiegal 2009-01-14 11:04:03 UTC
Fixed as masterfix in OOO300 m16.
Comment 5 ingo.schmidt-rosbiegal 2009-01-19 16:19:19 UTC
is -> of: please verify in m15 on master.
Comment 6 Olaf Felka 2009-01-20 11:36:22 UTC
OF: The masterfix is ok. Unfortunately the installation switch /qb is broken for
JRE 6U11(see issue 98257).
