If I've got staroffice as the default program to open microsoft applications
(eg word, excel) how do I change it back so that microsoft is the default?

This is a configuration question about Microsoft Windows, not a
bug in OpenOffice.org so I am marking it as resolved INVALID.

I don't have Win98, but in Windows 2000, you can
change the default application for opening your documents using
the Tools/Folder Options menu item under My Computer, and then going
to the File Types tab of the dialog that pops up, maybe that works
in 98 too.

If not you can probably change the default application by right
clicking on a document in Windows Explorer and choosing the
Open with... menu option. There should be a set this application
as default checkbox there.

If none of that works search your Win98 help for references
to file types, and you should find something there.

Please mark this bug as closed.

Marking as closed as this is not a Scripting Framework bug.
