.wmf file with text created by openoffice-draw not compatile on linux and window OS
Last modified: 2014-07-24 17:11:20 UTC
I found if a .wmf file created by openoffice-draw on linux OS includes text, then the text of this .wmf picture cannot be display correctly on windows OS. vice versa, a .wmf file created by openoffice-draw on window OS includes text, then the text of this .wmf picture also cannot be display correctly on Linux OS.
Created attachment 53575 [details] wmf created on window OS by draw, display on linux

Sorry, it is not visible what the problem is. The pdf file displays without a problem. Screenshots would be more of a help here.
I don't know how to attach a new file, I will email a new simple pdf to wg to show this problem.
You can use the "Create a new attachment" link below the Summary and keywords line. Or email it, please tell me if it is confidential or not. Thanks.

Are these really pdf files or did you just select the wrong mime type?
This really a PDF file I created (by export PDF) on windows. I open openoffice- draw on windows, and insert a .wmf file created on linux by openoffice-draw, and then export it as a PDF file. as you seen, the character distance is not improper. Character in a .wmf file created on linux will be overlaped when handled on windows OS, on the other hand, Character in a .wmf file created on windows will be over-separated when handled on Linux OS.
Reproducible. Reassigned.
It seems that the documents to confirm the issue were send in a private mail, because the two attachments here are not enough to confirm the bug now.
