Steps to reproduce:

1 open new document
2 type: dei
3 save document
4 check: Tools > Autocorrect > Replace:
In the list: dei -> die
5 check: Tools > Autocorrect > Options > [m] [x] Use replacement table
6 Format > Autoformat > Apply

Nothing happens.

I could reproduce the behaviour on Linux with 2.3 as well.

Works without a problem in OOo 2.4.1 (linux) → worksforme. Feel free to reopen
the bug if the bug still occurs in a current version.

Also note that the autocorrect feature depends on the correct language to be
applied to the text. So the dei → die replacement would only work if the text is
formatted as being german text.

It does only work if style was set to "standard": then style is changed and
replacement works. Within the same style: no change and no replace.

I tried it with 2.4.1

Now it works.
