Something seems to be radically wrong.  The clipboard handling in OOo seems to 
be independent from the windows clipboard and the user functions seem to vary 
from one OOo app to another.

For example in OOo Calc;
1. in any cell type whatever, lets say "1234", press enter
2. select the edited cell and click on the cut button or go to the edit menu 
and select cut, or press ctrl-x, or shift-del.
3. the text disappears, the cell remains selected.
4. now try to paste it.  It can't be done.  The paste button is greyed out, and 
the option to paste under the edit menu is not there, using keyb shortcuts it 
can't paste either.  Funny enough the copy and cut options are still available 
which shouldn't be.

In OOo Writer its the same problem except the cut and copy buttons and options 
on the menu do disappear after cutting, however the paste option still is not 
available and keyb shortcuts don't paste the text.
