Description chrisfletcher 2007-12-09 03:05:34 UTC
When you install a new dictionary using the wizard, if you have already enabled
the quick launch in Windows, you go to restart it and you don't see the new
dictionaries as OOo isn't actually reloading.

A message along the lines of:

Note for Windows users: Don't forget to unload the quick launch icon from your
taskbar so OpenOffice.org will correctly reload otherwise your new dictionaries
will not be visible.

...or something similar in the DictOOo file would save others the headaches I
had! :-)

Thomas, this is something we should not forget when redesigning the dictionary
configuration and replacing the wizard by extensions. As extensions basically
support live deployment it's just a heads up, not anything that should cause
large effort.

Not time left to fix this one in OO0 3.1 because of other issues.
