Description shlomif 2007-11-30 14:25:10 UTC
openoffice.org-impress-2.3.0.5-1mdv2008.1 does not preserve the "Right to
Left" style explictly assigned for text after the document has been saved. To
reproduce:

1. Create a blank presentation.

2. Apply a page formatting with some text to the page.

3. Write "×©×œ×•× World" or that such.

4. Right click -> Edit Style -> Alignment -> Direction -> Text direction ->
change to "Right-to-left".

5. Save the document (as "test.odp" or whatever).

6. Close OOo.

7. Open the document again.

Result:

The text was reverted to Left-to-right.

Confirming using 2.4m241 on WinXP - as described.

I can't reproduce the bug.
Please have a look if this still occures in the latest developer build.
Please attach a bugdoc to reproduce the bug.

I can still reproduce this issue in OpenOffice.org 2.4.0:

{{{{{{{
shlomi:~$ rpm -qf `which ooffice2.4`
openoffice.org-common-2.4.0.4-2mdv2008.1
}}}}}}}

Do you need any additional testing? What is a "bugdoc"? (Google is no help)
Should I attach the resultant "test.odp" file?

Regards,
