The PDF format has supported the concept of layers since version 1.5.  It would 
be useful to have the Export PDF functionality in Draw to create layers in the 
exported PDF based on the layers stored in the Draw document.

Very useful now cause most PDF viewers accept layers (FoxIt, Nitro, etc).

Known as Optional Content Groups (OCG) in the PDF specification described as:
