I am running Open office Aqua in Mac OSX 10.4.8. The OO spash screen shows
version 2.2 at the top but in the text it says v. 2.3

When I double click on either a MSWord .doc or a .odt file, Open office writer
launchs but when the launch is complete, I am presented with a new blank file.
The file I double clicked on does not open.

Not a P1 :-)

This issue has been fixed in aquavcl02 ( issue 78358 ), and it will work in the
next development snapshot.
