Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 80391
Starsymbol font glyph u21B7 is wrong
Last modified: 2013-07-30 02:15:31 UTC
Caveat: perhaps this is a relic of some earlier version of Open/Star/Neo office -- I don't know exactly what fonts come with what versions of O/S/N office, but. it's got your name on it. To reproduce, read the description of the character, and/or compare with other fonts' versions of the same character, and/or compare with the reference material at Unicode.org. It's wrong. I went looking for other "wrong" characters, I did not find them.
Yes, it should be a "CLOCKWISE TOP SEMICIRCLE ARROW". I've got a StarSymbol version 1.02, file STARSYMB.ttf
+ me on CC
changed component to porting
reassign
porting? - <sigh>do people read the description at all?</sigh> Invalid for OOo, since OpenSymbol doesn't contain any character at that codepoint. StarOffice is not shipped with OpenOffice.org, it is part of StarOffice only So up to hdu whether he wishes to keep this one or move to the Sun-internal bugtracker.
@IH: indeed, I checked the latest version of this font and the glyph for the codepoint U+21B7 is wrong.
IH->LHO: I do not know why this is an OOo issue. StarSymbol is only shipped with StarOffice. We are not allowed to do any changes to this font. Do you have an idea how we should handle this here?
