Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 7762
broken cursor movement in Basic IDE
Last modified: 2003-02-20 11:04:40 UTC
I hope this is a UDK issue. If not, can someone please redirect it :-) The move-word-backwards function is oddly broken in the Basic IDE. If you start at the end of a line, the first press of ctrl- left arrow jumps the cursor right to the beginning of the line, like the home key. Subsequent key presses move one word backwards as they should. If you reach the end of a line by pressing ctrl-left from the beginning of the next line, the cursor moves correctly backwards by the word. Placing the cursor in the middle of a line and then pressing ctrl-left works properly, too. It's just when you start at the end of a line that this happens. But of course that is the place where the cursor spends most of it's time while editing.
Andreas, can you please take care of this?
I could not reproduce this bug in StarOffice/srx644m. ab->mt: Do you know if it has already been fixed in the TextEngine?
Can't reproduce in SRX644v
Reopen for sending to QA
MT->MSC: Please verify and close
Hi, can't reproduce it, too. So it will be fixed in the next developer build. Bye Marc
