Can you provide a process to reproduce the issue ? 

I remember I have seen it one time, but since, I cannot reproduce.

Since, I never reproduced the bug, and I'll set as "works for me"

This needs to be reopened.
Tested aquavc|01_20070630 using PPC G4

Open a file and collapse file into dashboard.
Now select "file -> new" - nothing happens.

Bring collapsed file to view on desktop (click on file in dashboard)
with file in view on desktop - select "file -> new" and a new blank file appears
