I have lost the copy and paste function in OpenOffice Calc

It was working fine this morning and now out of the blue it does not work.

if you are talking about button on toolbar then click Tools - Customize - 
Toolbars - Standard - Commands and make sure that you have Edit, Copy and 
Paste checked.
