Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 75932
Inverted Text does not "word wrap" correctly.
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:11:17 UTC
I have text boxes with inverted text (rotated 180 degrees). When I invert the text, the text wrapping breaks. Instead of being nicely wrapped, like the uninverted text, the text is all on the left hand side of the column. I tried up loading the file to Google Docs. You can get it at the URL supplied above. I noticed that Google Docs does not support any kind of rotating in the document. So, if all of the text is rotated at zero degrees, I can email you the original file. In the file there are 4 large entries. The text is rotated as noted in the grid below. 0 | 90 ---------- 180 | 270 The only text not formatted correctly is in the square rotated at 180 degrees. The others do the correct "text wrapping". I have seen this bug when using the Calc Component on Windows XP (OOo 2.1) and Ubuntu Feisty (2.2 RC4) (confirmed on 2.2 Final). Language - English
Confirming two problems with 2.2m8 on WinXP. 1. If you enter text, apply "Warp text", OK, "Rotate by 180" text does not wrap any more. 2. Apply "Warp text", OK, "Rotate by 180", OK, type several words, Enter - text is garbled.
