Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 75744
must resize text box two times before the resizing is effective
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:45:00 UTC
In impress 2.1, select the Text tool. Draw a text box, fill it with text. Click on the text box so as to select it. Drag a corner to reduce the size of the box. Release the mouse button, the box comes back to its oroginal size. Drag again the same corner to reduce the size of the box. Release the mouse button, the size of the text box is now reduced.
Reassigned.
Works for me. WinXP OOo 2.2 RC4
I can't reproduce the bug. Occurs the bug only when you create a new document or could you attach a document where I can see the bug?
Created attachment 43946 [details] Test for text box resize problem
Here is a file to test the text box resize. Click on the border of the text area. Resize the box using the middle right anchor. You must resize it 2 times before the box is resized. I use windows XP SP2 and Office 2.1
Can't repro with 2.2m11 on WinXP. ycollet, please try 2.2 (released real-soon-now) and post the results. Thanks.
I've tried with OO-2.2rc4. The problem still appears. But I see how you proceed: if you take the text tool and draw a box and the fill the box with text, the box is resizable on the first shot. If you just click with the text tool on a blank slide and then add some text, the box will need 2 resizing before it is resized.
Set to new and change the target.
I can reproduce the bug. - click on the Text icon - click into the slide (you get a textbox which resize while writing - press ESC (you get into the selection mode - resize the textbox 2 times.
I can't see any resizing problems. OOo 2.2.1 RC2, WinXP SP2
No resizing problems with AOO 4.1.RC3. Issu canbe closed, IMO
No resizing problems with AOO 4.1.0 RC3. Issue can be closed, IMO
