I am using two monitors, the left one is in landscape and the right one in
portrait format. So the upper left corner of the right monitor is "higher" than
the upper edge of the left monitor.

When I run OpenOffice on the right monitor the menus are displayed too far left
so that they are not visible (I found this using OO Writer). This is so ennoying
that I cannot use OpenOffice on the right monitor.

any chance you could make a picture with digital camera (or at least 
screenshot)?
