Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 73549
Shift + Enter needed to enter more than one list-entry in ComboBoxes
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:02:05 UTC
Hi, for entering more than one list-entry, you have to type shift + enter. This is not user-friendly, because most users dono that they have to do so (I had also firstly to look into the internet how to do so, after a user called me, and I am using OpenOffice every day). Would be better if there would be a button and a extra window, wherer you could enter the single list-elements by "Add" and move them up and down in the list by arrow-buttons (like MS Office handels it)... Thanks and regards Jan (aka Mailerdemon)
Reassigned to MSC.
mailerdemon, any chance you could attach screenshot of Word window?
Created attachment 42235 [details] The way MS Office had solved that
I hope you find these Screenshot useful. I have just an german version of MS Office at work installed. You see at the left side a field named Dropdown-Element, there you could enter a new item. Via Hinzufügen (means add) you add this to the list at the right side, where you could move the single items in the list up and down by the arrow-keys... This dialog opens when you double click the the ComboBox... I think its ok, that in OpenOffice opens the window, which is opening in the moment :) But I want to have instead of these drop-down-list for list-entry (or however it is called in the english-version) where you have to press Shift+Enter, a button where you get a window similar to the one in the attachment...
