Description sesh1989 2007-01-14 07:55:26 UTC
Please refer to the last slide ("Hypothetical Syllogism - Notations"). For the
last paragraph ("It is not necessary ... then conclusion is true"), I tried
Format->Paragraph->Indents & Spacing and changed both "Before text" and "First
line" to zero. The entire paragraph looked neatly aligned without any hanging
indent. I saved the file and reopened it. Presto! The hanging indent is back.
You try it any number of times, but there is no way to remove the hanging.

Secondly, why does last line in the said paragraph appears clipped when the
entire text area below title area is selected?

Confirming with OO 2.1 on WinXP:
1. Indentation for the last paragraph is not saved.
2. Last line is clipped - see attached "clipping.gif".
