Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 71814
Hyperlinks don't work (properly) when aligning right or centered
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:13:47 UTC
Hello, 2 Cases for centered or right-aligned cells: - When I enter the text '[Hyperlink] and more text' than the hyperlink (the active area for the mouse) is not placed properly - When I enter the text 'Testing [Hyperlink] and more text' than the hyperlink is not working at all. That's it.

I can't reproduce the issue therefore can you: 1. download and install openoffice.org version 2.1, then repeat the test and write the results here. 2. write the exact steps you took so I can repeat the issue. Also please provide your locale set up. Thank you.
Ok, I've tried it again with OOo 2.2 German under WinXP Home and my example (att id=40795) can still show the bug. I've also tried it with OOo 2.0 English under Linux which showed the same behavior.

With this change, the examples from the attached file don't work. If you tested the patch, did you have any additional modifications in place?

It's still the same in OOo 3.1.0 (Mac OS X). A hyperlink with additional text will get the wrong active area when the cell is centered or right aligned. I will attach a screenshot of this behaviour.

On Linux, it's not just that the active area is misplaced--I get no link cursor (pointing hand) at all.
Seems that this problem is OS independent. Can someone change the OS from Windows XP to All?
