This is my first issue, so please excuse any mistakes I make with regards to 
it's posting. 

I recently downloaded and installed OO v. 1.0.1 onto an IBM 570 laptop running 
Slackware Linux 8.1.  After approximately 24 hours, I cannot open any element 
of the OO suite.  The program goes through the initial setup phase, but once it 
begins to draw the window, it pauses, then clears the window with no error 
message.  Re-running setup and using the repair option has no effect on this 
problem.  I am not aware of any logging facility in OO that I might use to 
provide you with further details of this problem.
