Description realgrouchy 2006-11-07 23:55:14 UTC
To reproduce this problem:
- type two words in a slide
- put the cursor in the middle of one of the words ("word 1")
- right click on the *other* word ("word 2"), then apply some sort of formatting
through the context menu (i.e. change style, size, etc.)
- the formatting is applied to word 1, not to word 2. In Writer, the formatting
applies to word 2 (as expected)

I have tried this on two different computers, bother running Windows XP Home.

Reproducible. Reassigned.
Comment 2 thomas.lange 2007-02-07 12:49:01 UTC
That is bot the problem. Everything is fine with this considering that the
cursor still remains where it was when right clicking. The effects are only
applied to the text where the cursor is located in.

Thus the only problem is that right clicking does not move the cursor to the
point of the click.

It works in Writer's tab boxes and Calc.
It works also for misspelled words in sd but not when spell checking is not active.
-> sd specific problem.
Fixing this may require changes in SelectionEngine::SelMouseButtonDown (vcl) though.
At least it seems to me that because of this function
ImpEditEngine::MouseButtonDown works on the wrong selection.

TL->CL: Please take over. Thanks!
