This is an anoying problem rather than a total failure.  But it does slow down
testing a build.

@Ause: I remember we had problems with that but it doesn't occur with
SRX643 anymore, at least not on Solaris, even if I remove the patch
mentioned below. Besides a possible client/server timestamp conflict,
any suggestions?

@Kevin: icu/makefile.mk 1.3.2.1 contains a patch provided by you that
encloses an entire section in a commented out if-block
#.IF "$(GUI)"=="WNT"
...
#.ENDIF
what is that supposed to do? The patch was also merged into HEAD by
Martin, to me it seems to make no sense at all.

Not sure if IZ sends the notify mail to newly added Cc members in the same session, so I 
just add another comment to create a mail.

cannot add much new to this issue. tried to reproduce it on SRX643 (no
SRX642 at hand) but it just builds once. maybe updating
"solenv/inc/tg_ext.mk" helps, as it contains the dependenncies between
the different steps.

I looked again at my makefile.mk change for OO642C.  I am not sure I  
understand it now either.  
  
Please feel free to reverse that change.  
  
I have not yet successfully checked out all of SRX643_OO so I can 
not test anything there yet. 
 
I archived my OO642C source onto CD to free up space.  If you want 
me to I will happily re-install it and rebuild and try to see if icu 
still rebuilds each time (I do remember it doing that but perhaps 
some other change I was unaware of actually fixed it). 
 
Just let me know.

This is NOT and issue with srx643_OO.

Do we want to close this as 643C is a dead branch now.

@Ken: You mean 642 is dead now.. 643 of course isn't.

If it doesn't occur anymore in the 643 builds I'd suggest we close
this issue. Objections, anyone?
