Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 6863
'Print to PDF' actually generates PostScript.
Last modified: 2003-03-11 17:59:23 UTC
Using v1.0.1 as packaged by Red Hat for the Limbo beta, Selecting the 'print to file' checkbox in the print dialog box in OO Writer, with the default 'Generic Printer' selected, then from the resulting 'Save As' dialog box selecting 'File Type: PDF', results in a PostScript file being saved, not PDF as requested.
Just to confirm, this isn't specific to the RedHat Limbo beta. I just noticed this problem on the same problem with the regular 1.0.1 build for Linux that is on the OpenOffice.org mirror servers.
