Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 66872
SVG Export Mangles Ellipses Curves
Last modified: 2017-05-20 10:47:28 UTC
Greetings, When exporting the following attached document in OO, the overlapping ellipses (crescents) on the left side apparently don't get their constraints taken into consideration, and are drawn as circles. If I remove the gradients, it will export OK in EPS. Steps to reproduce: 1. Open attached File 2. Export to SVG or EPS 3. Open in a EPS/SVG viewer to see the problem Optional: 4. Remove Gradients from the crescents on the left and make a solid color 5. Export to SVG and EPS 6. EPS is now correct, however SVG isn't.

EPS is not an openoffice export problem, it was coming up wrong in Inkscape. The EPS displays correctly in Konqueror. However, the SVG export is still at issue which I meant to make the focus of the bug.
This seems more to be a problem of the viewer... The internet explorer shows the result ok, Opera shows only the graphic object, GIMP under Linux shows a ball instead of the 6-arm star. Reassigned. Could you have a look, please?
