Description klute 2002-07-10 11:33:01 UTC
The instructions on how to download the OpenOffice source code via
CVS are well hidden. It took me quite some time to find them. I
expected to find them under "Download" or "Download | Developer"
but failed.

These pages already including frequent mentionings of "CVS". My
suggestion is to integrate links to the CVS setup instructions.

I found them via Download > Developer > Source > Checking Out from
CVS. It was fairly easy for me, but I do agree that it is deeply nested.

cvs instructions (or links to them) are also scattered throughout the
project's pages.
I think they are from the faq.html, from documentation.html, from
website homepage, from Help (does anyone ever use the Help?).
but we don't have a fully developed developers' page, and that would
be the best place, too.

Hi Rainer,
I think, the situation has improved. Download Central and the Source
download page have explanations about CVS access.
If you have suggestions for further improvements feel free to reopen.
Greetings, Stefan
