Description rollom 2006-03-23 13:31:44 UTC
- Open the attached file.
- Select the outer frame (gray).
- Press Del to delete it.
- Press ctrl-z to undo.

=> The drawing in the middle is restored in the background (invisible) instead
of the foreground where it should be.

There seem to be more problems with fore-/background settings of drawings as I
experience graphics suddenly going to background while working on completely
other graphics in the document. I'll report as soon as I can reproduce the flaws.

Any idea what's going on here?

The problem could be reproduced using the attached files (Grafik2.odt) on the
following system configuration:

Platform: PC OS: Windows XP SP2	Build: OOo 2.1

In addition, I have also discovered some interesting behaviour through some
follow-up tests. After following the replication steps, if we close OOo Writer
and re-open the file, we would be able to see the drawing again. This implies
that the undo step had indeed successfully restored the file to its original
state, but some how OOo Writer had a wrong representation of it.

Another thing is that after following the replications sequences, if we try to
delete the outer frame and undo again, the drawing in the middle reappears. I
then repeated the delete and undo steps and found that a partial drawing and a
blank drawing appears alternately for every delete and undo cycle. Please look
at the attachment which shows the partial drawing.

MRU->AMA/OD: when having a draw object lying over a graphic, after deleting the
graphic and undoing this step, the arrangement of the objects has reverted.

Issue 80814 shows some more simple examples and that the problem also exists for
frames, that will cover draw elements after undo
