Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 63346
multiple, perfectly overlapping textboxes unclickable
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:31:08 UTC
In the process of copying and un-doing textbox (and other object) creation (not exactly sure of the steps), I ended up with diagrams with multiple, perfectly overlapping textboxes that are unclickable. That is, I cannot click to select the text (e.g., to edit or delete one of the extra copies). Yes, I can click-drag to select all of them and then delete or resize, but the action affects all of them, rather than just one. Also, perhaps because of some anti-aliasing effect, the more duplicate copies, the darker and uglier the text becomes. The file I will attach was only created and edited using OOo 2.01.
Created attachment 34997 [details] sample diagrams with unclickable text boxes
there is a way to access the individual text boxes: select all of them, then press F8 or click Menubar->Edit->Points. You can then change the size of each text box individually, the first one being the topmost. But otherwise, confirmed with 680_m158 on WinXP Pro SP2
Also using TAB would be a work-around. Reproducible. Don't know whose this is. Please reassign.
Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
