Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 63316
The ALT+arrow shortcuts can't shift object in a table
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:15:45 UTC
The ALT+arrow shortcuts are supposed to move the selected object in "fine adjustment"mode (tiny movement). But when the object is in a table, when we press ALT+arrow, the object is unselected, and then the ALT+Arrow acts on the table instead. (Instead of moving the object, now the command adjusts the column-height and row-width of the table.) See the attached file for sample.
Created attachment 34963 [details] ALT+Arrow command acts on table, not objects
confirmed with 680_m158 on WinXP Pro SP2
MRU->OS: when an object is located in a table, the Alt-Cursor key does have impact onnthe table, not on the selected object; this is not really intuitive.
Target adjusted
move target to 3.x according http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Target_3x
See also Issue 96184 where (on Mac OS X) alt-shift-left and alt-shift-right MUST NOT manipulate tables.
