Previous Page and Next Page icons swapped in Page Preview toolbar

1. Open or create a multi-page Writer Document. 2. File -> Page Preview. 3. The Page Preview toolbar appears. Expected: 4. The first two buttons are: 1: Actual action and tooltip: "Previous Page"; icon: "<-". 2: Actual action and tooltip: "Next Page"; icon: "->". Actual: 4. The first two buttons are: 1: Actual action and tooltip: "Previous Page"; icon: "->". 2: Actual action and tooltip: "Next Page"; icon: "<-". So the two icons are swapped, at least in the Linux icon set. [Found during Italian QA tests]

Can't confirm that for "2.0.2 German version WIN XP: [680m5(Build9011)]" Really only LINUX problem? @pescetti Is that really only in the pabe preview for Word Processor? (I don't believe so and changed Component) Pls. check for CALC and other OOo modules. Did you really use the original OOo Linux build or one from some other distribution?
This was found and discussed during Italian Community QA tests. We are using the original SUN builds, "2.0.2 Italian: 680m5(Build9011)]". Odd as it might sound, I confirm everything you don't believe, namely: * This is a Linux problem (nobody has it under Windows) * Moreover, it affects GNOME and KDE, but not IceWM * It affects only Writer (the Page Preview in Calc is OK) * Same behavior with OOo 2.0.2 English It is not yet clear what causes the problem, but we have an open thread on this in the Italian QA mailing list. I'm available in case more information is needed.

Yes, I see, page preview toolbars for WRITER and CALC are independent, changes for WRITER do not affect page preview UI in CALC or Master Document. You should see the reporte problem in PPviw for also for XML Form document.
This issue shows up with the Windows version (2.0.2) if you change the icon theme to either Industrial or Crystal.
This still happens with OOo-2.0.3-RC5. Summarizing the above comments and other observations, the issue can now be more precisely stated as follows: The two icons for the "Next Page" and "Previous Page" buttons in the Writer Page Preview are swapped in the Industrial and Crystal icon themes.

Sorry kendy, some how I missed this Issue. I will investigate ASAP.
The problem is with the industrial set (icons swapped around): .../res/commandimagelist/lc_pagedown.png .../res/commandimagelist/lc_pageup.png .../res/commandimagelist/sc_pagedown.png .../res/commandimagelist/sc_pageup.png I will upload the fix, which also optimizes these icons. OT/ Icons duplicate *_nextpage / *_previouspage... and there is obviously code duplication as I would expect same Page Preview code for Writer & Calc... >Sigh< /OT Kendy, not sure if this patch can be squeezed in for 2.0.4?... Thanks for fixing in the Industrial theme. But, as I already commented, the Crystal theme has the same problem, at least in the latest stable version (2.0.3). I checked with the four image names provided by ace_dent.
->'pescetti': These icons are not defined in the Crystal theme base set of icons. When OOo is built, the missing icons fall-back to using those from the Industrial theme. By fixing the industrial theme it will (ultimately) fix Crystal. Cheers.
