Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 62868
Arrowheads toolbar does not highlight selected end-shapes
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:34:55 UTC
1. In an odt file, insert a line. 2. Select the line and start the "Arrowheads" toolbar. 3. Select a different shape for each end of this line. Expected: Once a shape is selected, the toolbar should show a thick border around its cell. (The toolbar should highlight two cells; one for each end of the line.) But the "Arrowheads" toolbar does not show a border around the selected end-shapes. Only a single cell (the top-left) is always highlighted. See attached file for sample.

Confirmed with OOo 2.0.2RC3, Draw, WinXP. Currently the selected arrow-heads are not shown; this would be a useful enhancement although it's quite easy to work without. Regards, Andrew
No actually I came across this because several heads looked similar to each other, and I was not sure which one I had selected earlier. Note that when the line thickness changes, the heads appear totally different. The worst-affected is the "T" end-shape: It almost disappears when the line is thick! Probably I should raise this as another bug?? If the toolbar highlights the current styles, the user will know how to change the arrow to make the line look nice again.
Reassigned to requirements.
