Description Unknown 2002-07-03 22:11:16 UTC
after any change to an open office document or spreadsheet is made and a save
is attempted through file save or file save as an unrecoverable error occurs
that is recovered by reopening the document or spreadsheet. it is then in a
loop where the same message occurs each and every time a save is made. this
happens with new files and existing.

Please help us to analyse your problem.
Have a look at the path for temporary files by opening the dialog
Tools/Options/Paths.
Is it empty or contains unreadable characters?
Thanks Stefan

And additional:

does the path you find after starting OOo in the key "CurrentTempURL"
$(user)/config/registry/instance/org/openoffice/Office/Common.xml
exist?

I wonder how the document can be recovered if saving crashes. May be
it depends on the place where the document is saved to? And in which
format?

If nobody gives an answer to this I can't do anything for it.

Sorry, but because there is no additional information, I can't accept
this issue, because it is not reproducable on any machine I can find,
so I *need* information from people who can reproduce it.
