In 2.0.1 it is now possible to suppress blank lines in the address block in a 
mail merged document. 
 
However, there does not seem to be a similar facility in the label wizard, 
which remains the same as in previous ooo versions. 
 
Given that label creation is a very common procedure in an office environment, 
never mind for home users, couldn't the blank line suppression be included here 
too?

It is planned to redesign the label wizard. So I set this issue as enhancement.

Is there currently any projected date or version for the redesign? Or any spec
associated with it?

I spent over two hours last night wrestling with label creation (including the
lack of a "Suppress blank lines" option), so if there's a spec for the redesign
I'd like to have a look at it while the issues are fresh in my mind.
