Description zanonmark 2005-12-09 09:52:07 UTC
When I insert an image into an Impress presentation as link (i.e.: not embedding
it) and I later close the file, OOo crashes on reloading it.

It happened to me on different files.

To reproduce it:
- create a blank presentation
- insert an image (as link) from /usr/share/pixmaps
- close and reload

Note: it seems this bug does NOT affect inserting .png images; instead, I had
problems with .xpm, .gif, .jpg.

Thanks.

Sorry, not reproducible. Do you use an original OOo download version? Which
Linux do you use? did you send an eroro report? Any hints how it can be found
(used email or description)? Thanks in advance.

I use OOo 2.0.0 (unofficial download) on Ubuntu 5.10.

Note: I just found that the bug does not happen on 1-slide-only presentations.

So:
- create a new presentation
- Insert > Picture > From file > As link
- create a new slide
- Insert > Picture > From file > As link
- save and close
- reload.

Can you reproduce the bug now?

Thanks (sorry for my previous wrong description)

Sorry, still not reproducible. Did I get you right, you use an unoffical
download? Please test this on an offical one. Thanks.

No more info received. If you still can reproduce this on a current offical
version please feel free to reopen. Thanks.
