Highlight notepad text, paste to cell.  Spurious characters sometimes appear at 
the end of the text - example, pasted to here on the next line (without newline)

The same paste into spreadsheet cell H13 gave
database securityÂEÃB¦
Wierd features:
Pasted into F13 the string came through unscathed
Pasted as an append to existing data (F7) it corrupted giving 
Relational database - form-query-report referential integrity, database 
security¼Â¼ 
(If there's an extra newline intervening after 'giving' it came from your form!)

Incidentally, some of the rubbish characters are rendered differently in the 
formula bar and the cell.  Looks like another issue waiting to surface....

HRO@TRA: Please have a look at this one. Perhaps it's really a bug 
in the calc module. But it only occurs on Windows 98, Windows XP is 
O.K.

It is a bug in the Windows clipboard implementation. Will be fixed soon.
