Description caretaker_72 2005-11-29 17:31:41 UTC
Is not a costant thing, but often at the second or third save after I paste a
slide copied from the same presentation (after editing it), OpenOffice crashes
(and recovery loses data).

I have a test document if is useful.

Did you sent an error report? If so, how can I find it (used email or title)? On
which Os did you have the problem? Please attach the file, thanks.

Yes, I have sent automatic error report - 5-8 of then - search as mail
renato.salzano (at) nectarine.it.

The problem is present equally on OpenOffice 2.0 under Linux (Gentoo Linux
2005.2, Kernel 2.6.11) and on OpenOffice 2.0 under Windows XP Sp2.

The sample document is in attachment. Step to reproduce the problem:

1. Copy the slide n. 24, and paste in the end of presentation.
2. Edit it
3. Save the presentation

Repeat the step varying the copied slide two or three times, and a crash arises
when saving. The autorecovery don't usually recovers the last slides.

Reproducible in 2.0 but not in internal current one. Please have a look at the
stack(s) if there is something that could be done...
Comment 5 clippka 2005-12-13 14:37:29 UTC
The problems are the animations in the document, this is the same as issue
53696, which is fixed for OOo 2.0.1
