Description jschwender 2005-11-16 13:46:37 UTC
It seems that some key shortcuts have changed, but the online-help on key
shortcuts "Tastatur;allgemeine Befehle" (german) still says:
(Strg) G : Aufrufen des Dialogs Suchen & Ersetzen. (search and replace)
Strg-Taste + Umschalttaste + F : Sucht nach dem zuletzt eingegebenen Suchbegriff.

It does not work like this in OO2.

I can confirm this at least for what i have: german version of OO2, Linux OS,
but this is probably a consistent error through all platforms and languages.
Comment 1 Uwe Fischer 2005-11-16 14:26:28 UTC
->iano: please have a look at german keyboard shortcuts in
text/shared/04/01010000.xhp. They should conform to the spec doc in
http://specs.openoffice.org/g11n/menus/LocalizedShortcuts.sxw

->jschwender: thank you for your issue. But please stay with the facts, don't
submit any guesses. All languages are translated by different people with
different timetables.
Comment 2 Rainer Bielefeld 2005-11-24 09:54:57 UTC
I checked with “2.0 German version WIN XP: [680m3(Build8968)]†and can confirm
problems:

Under Heading "Liste der allgemeinen Tastenkombinationen in OpenOffice.org"
several descriptions are muddled:
----------------------------------
(may be that that is the old function from 1.1.4):
"(Strg)(F)" must have the description currently given for "(Strg) G"

"(Strg) G" must have the description currently given for "Strg-Taste +
Umschalttaste + F"

"Strg-Taste + Umschalttaste + F" must have the description currently given for
"(Strg)(F)"

Wrong key press descriptions are
--------------------------------
(Strg)(K) must be (Strg)(Umschalt) (K)
(Strg)(F) must be (Strg)(Umschalt) (F)
(Strg)(U) must be (Strg)(Umschalt) (U)

Correct descriptions I found for:
---------------------------------
(Strg) (Umschalt)(Leertaste)
(Strg)(O)
(Strg)(S)
(Strg)(N)
(Umschalt)(Strg)(N) But better "(Strg) (Umschalt)(N)"
                         (see "(Strg) (Umschalt)(Leertaste)")
(Strg)(P)
Taste (Strg)(Q) But the word "Taste" in shortcut is waste)
(Strg)(X)
(Strg)(C)
(Strg)(V)
(Strg) + (Umschalt) (V) But better "(Strg) (Umschalt) (V)"
(Strg) A
(Strg)(Z)
Strg- + Umschalttaste + J (But better: "(Strg) (Umschalt)(J)

Shortcut key press description should be more uniform, pls. see my comments!

I did not find out how it works for:
-------------------------------------
(Strg) Y (what is an "action"? repeat of "(Strg) (V) did not work
Strg-Taste + Umschalttaste + R (what does this do?)
Strg-Taste + Umschalttaste + I
(Strg)(K)

Other shortcuts: not tested.

Wrong descriptions:
-------------------

shortcut: Strg-Taste + Umschalttaste + F
current wrong description: Sucht nach dem zuletzt eingegebenen Suchbegriff
correct description: Umschalten "Fett /

shortcut:
current wrong description:

So should the target be adjusted too? it is 2.1 now...
Comment 18 ivo.hinkelmann 2006-11-20 14:57:24 UTC
target -> 2.2 , it is too late for OOo 2.1 integration
Comment 19 pavel 2007-01-12 06:55:03 UTC
OK, reset target.

Please set target when you know it will get fixed for that version.
