I tried to open a powerpoint file where one slide had an embedded visio object.
Opening the file goes well as well as saving it as odi file for example.

That worked because that specific slide was slide 17 which is not shown after
opening the file.

Now when impress tries to show either the thumbnail of that sliede or the sliede
itself it freezes.

Powerpoint can show that visio object without visio software being installed on
a windows box.

I prepared a .ppt file with only one slide containing that visio object under
the given URL.
