The README that is unpacked after downloading contains minimum system
requirements and hints on getting involved, but there are no instructions for
installing the software. The information I needed was indeed on the download
page, but it was below the break on my screen before choosing my language, and
was above the break afterward.

This information really should be included in the README as well, since many
people are likely to rush through the download process as I did and miss some
important information.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
