1. Press F1.
2. Use the search term "external programs."
3. Select the article "External Programs."

** Documentation excerpt
External Programs
Defines which service is provided by which program.
To access this command... 
Choose Tools - Options - OpenOffice.org - External Programs 

** Problem
"External Programs" does not exist where described.

Even in the latest version (OOo2.0) there still seems to be no option -
OpenOffice.org - External Programs.
Can anybody tell me where to find it ? I would like to be able to define my
email program to be able to send documents from within OOo.

The line in the User Guide has been fixed so I am changing the Sub-Component to
On-line Help because this subject is mentioned no where in Help and should be.
You can get a new copy of the Guide from
