Description davidjacobs 2005-10-25 20:06:04 UTC
A multi-page document prepared in (Office 2000)Word, then opened in
OpenOffice, then saved as Word.doc has a defect in the page header when
reopened by Word. The page no. of # pages appear with an extra character and a
different font on the numbers. When an attempt is made to edit the character,
Word has a problem and has to close.
Comment 1 michael.ruess 2005-10-26 14:26:32 UTC
I cannot see the problem with my own created sample document. It will be
re-written correctly to Word format.
Please attach your sample file (in the state BEFORE it is exported to Word
format) so that we can reproduce the problem here. Thanks a lot!

MRU->FLR: opem the attached document and re-export it to WW8 format, open the
file in MS Word -> see the header on page two: the font of the page fields
reverted to the styles default (lost its hard format) and also the field shows
an additional character.
Comment 4 michael.ruess 2005-11-17 15:52:18 UTC
Reassigned to FLR.
