Description plasmasam 2005-10-15 23:46:37 UTC
Inserting spreadsheet (Menu Insert/Spreadsheet) into an empty presentation and
empty sheet seems to reproducibly hang up OO. Table is displayed in the centre
of the slide but everything is frozen afterwards. It seems to be possible to
insert spreadsheet if there is already some text or object in the slide.
Version: OO 2.0rc2.

confirming.

- create a new empty presentation
- insert a spreadsheet (Menu Insert - Spreadsheet)

-> impress hangs

this does not happen on Windows, or if there are already other objects / text in
the presentation.

Setting P2, as "empty presentation" is the default for a fresh installation.

Which version are you using and on which linux? Is it the RC2? Thanks in advance.
Comment 3 andreschnabel 2005-10-17 12:02:48 UTC
I've tested with OOoRC3 (german) on OpenSUSE 10 / KDE / XOrg

The crash has been confirmet by other Linux Users (for RC3) on IRC, but I don't
know, what Linux version they use.

I said above, my version was OO 2.0rc2, the linux installation is basically
Mandrake 10.2 with Xorg 6.8.2 / KDE3.4.2 and 2.6.13 kernel.
