In OOo2.0RC2 (de-localisation) I found an error in the slide-effect.  
I opened a new presentation with the wizzard. In the first step I choose a new  
presentation from template (new strategie). In the third step of the wizzard I  
choose an effect (Rollen von links =) "roll from left". I see now that the  
direction of the effect was interchanged with "roll from right". 
System: SuSE 10.0, KDE 3.4.2, OOo2.0RC2-de

same on windows.

You don't need to go through the wizard. Just Assign Slide transitions "von
links / rechts rollen" with preview enabled.

this seems to be an error with the translation of the slide effects. While "wipe
up/down" is translated as "von unten/oben rollen", "wipe left/right" is
translated as "von links/rechts rollen".
