Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 55520
NUmbers in embedded tables not visibile when editing other grouped object
Last modified: 2017-05-20 11:08:31 UTC
You have a page of an impress doc that contains (at least) an embedded table (either from calc or writer) and another grouped object. In the editing interface, you double click on the grouped object to edit some of its components. This causes the other objects on the page to be greyed to help clearly distinguish them from the grouped ones. However the figures in the table most of the times (with some seemingly random exceptions) are not greyed but made totally invisible. Please note that the disappearing numbers are set in full black, not light colors, and the black color is imposed (it is not the "automatic" color setting). Thus, if you have to edit the grouped objects depending on the figures in the table, this is impossible unless you ungroup, edit then select again the items to be grouped and group them again. The attached bitmap files show the tale numbers normally visible and invisible when editing the grouped object; the example odp file is also attached.
Created attachment 30160 [details] Here is the table as it should be in normal view of the page
Created attachment 30161 [details] Here the grouped object is open and number in table are not visibile (except a couple of them, that has no different formating applied)
Created attachment 30162 [details] The odp file showing the problem
Some kind of reproducible with the bugdoc. When entering one group the other group gets into ghosted mode and some of the cells get white text color, some not. I cannot see why some change and others not.
