Install could set language based on windows settings?

Installed OpenOffice2 RC1 on Windows 2000 with regional settings as UK english. OpenOffice installs with language set to US. This will irritate the heck out of users. I can change easily of course and its great to now have the option! I did look for this and it doesn't seem to be a duplicate. Ps. OOo2 is fantastic.
